Mr. Fifi Kwetey who is about to finish his two terms successfully disclosed this when he met 1,872 branch executives in five zones within his constituency.

According to him, voting for such caliber of people would help the NDC party to recapture power both in 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections easily.

The incumbent MP who did his best to close the developmental and infrastructure deficits in some sectors such as health and sanitation, education, electrification, water among others within the constituency used the platform to thank and inform the branch executives that he would not seek for re-election in the next Parliamentary primaries simply because he has done his best and he can't break the old tradition that gave two terms to every successful MP that the Ketu South Constituency has produced. He added emphatically that, he also came to serve for two terms like his predecessors and he also did his best to close the developmental and infrastructure deficit gaps.

He cautioned the branch executives to be united during and after the forthcoming Parliamentary and Presidential Election in order to fight a common goal against incompetent NPP government out of power because his past experience taught him a lesson that, the disunity and apathy within the NDC Party normally starts from the period of that two crucial elections.

He also said, for the Presidential flagbearer election, the former President John Dramani Mahama stands tall among other candidates and since we all want power in 2020, there is the need to maintain him.

With Reference to the Parliamentary seat for Ketu South, he said he was ready to support anyone the branch executives would choose. He however cautioned that they must elect someone with the requisite experience, whose loyalty, dedication and commitment to party, will continue from where he left off.

According to some others, as the World Bank of the NDC, the Ketu South Constituency needs Political ‘Godfathers and Godmothers’ who will champion the vision and mission of the Constituency. They strongly believe that the Constituency should support Hon Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and Hon Abla Dzifa Gomashie to assume the roles having served as Ministers in Government.

Others are also adding the opinion that men have had their fair share of seat and are of the view that a woman should be allowed to lead the Constituency.

So far, it is only two women among twelve aspirants having ambition to contest Ketu South Constituency Parliamentary seat.

Mr. Fifi Kwetey ended his zonal interactive tour with branch executives in Somey Wego and Klikor Zone on the 12th of January 2019.

Klikor NDC Zonal executives with its citizens used the occasion to present to him Kente Cloth gift for his numerous developmental projects most especially water expansion project, to Klikor Traditional Area in his short term of office.
