Tadiasi community to get a new 6-unit classroom block

The Zongo Development Authority through the Daffiama Bussie Issa District Assembly is constructing a 6-unit classroom block for the Tadiasi D/A Basic School.

The project which has started has 6 classrooms, a library, and a store and is due to be completed in time for the start of the next academic year.

The new building will help ease the overcrowding in the school.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive, Mr. Nadi Imoro Sanda, stated, he expects that it will enhance teaching and learning in the Zongo community because obviously, that is the purpose of the fund. “We all know the situation in some of our community”.

He also indicated that the facility when finished would go a long way to enhance teaching and learning and also provide the children with a conducive teaching and learning atmosphere.

He said the Assembly is working hard to address infrastructure challenges of schools in the District for quality education delivery and charged the managers to maintain the facilities to last longer when completed.

He urged them to plant trees as windbreaks and for beautification.
