ABUAKWA S: NPP Executives applaud President for MCE nominee

The Akyem Abuakwa South Constituency Executives of the New Patriotic Party NPP, have expressed appreciation to His Excellency President Akufo Addo for listening to the plea of the people of Kyebi (kibi) in appointing Mr Kwadwo Ofori-Safo, a man they describe as very qualified as the Municipal Chief Executive for the area.

In a press statement copied Ghanadistricts.com and signed by the constituency Youth Organizer, Mr Kofi Asare Boutu, noted that the appointment of Kwadwo Ofori-Safo as MCE of Kyebi demonstrates the President regard for the people of Kyebi.

"Not only has the President demonstrated his veneration for the party executives, but he has also shown in his nomination, a deep concern for competence and integrity".

According to Mr Kofi Asare Boutu the NPP executives and the people of Kyebi are delighted and want to register their profound appreciation to the President for his careful and well considering choice of nominating Mr. Kwadwo Ofori-Safo as MCE for Kyebi.

"We believed that Hon Kwadwo Ofori-Safo is known for his leadership, love for development for the abuakwa south municipality. We also known that the MCE nominee is guided by the tenets of professionalism, integrity, loyal, service to the nation and respect for human right and his commitment to duty" he emphasised.

The Constituency Youth Organizer added that the Kyebi NPP executives have faith in the president nominee and believed that, if confirmed by the Assembly members he will give Kyebi a major facelift.

"We have every faith in Kwadwo Ofori-Safo and we believed that if confirmed by the assembly, he will work to the utmost of his abilities with the full complement of Kyebi alongside the president and his administration and the entire people of Kyebi to improve upon the growth and prosperity of Kyebi”.

The executives then ceased the opportunity to appeal to the Assembly Members to overwhelmingly endorse and support the nominee without any hesitation to deliver on the towering mandate of managing the affairs of the municipality.

Brief History About Kojo Ofori-Safo

Mr. Kojo Ofori-Safo was an Executive Director of Case Consult and Management Services Ltd and Knight Lamp Ltd before his appointment holding Bachelor Degree of Arts and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast who started as a subject teacher in some second cycle schools in Accra, Tema and Dunkwa-On Offin.

He is a seasoned Senior Tax Expert and has undertaken courses relating to Principles of Accounting, General Office Procedures, Management and Taxation.

Kojo Ofori-Safo also holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Project Management option) from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon and Master of Arts in Ports & Shipping Administration from the Regional Maritime University respectively.

Mr. Kojo Ofori-Safo brings on board a very rich expertise in Project initiation, planning, execution, strategic management and research with his years of experience in the Private and Public Sector particularly, the Ministry of Works & Housing, Water Resources, Ministry for Private Sector & President’s Special Initiatives on Oil Palm, the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Information.

He was once the Coordinator of the Ghana Investors’ Advisory Council whose mandate was to advice government in shaping Ghana’s Investments drive.

He has been very instrumental in the establishment and management of this company up to date. His involvement in the management of this company has resulted in its steady growth and expansion.
