Assembly honor teachers, students for remarkable performance

As part of the 66th Independence Anniversary, the Asante Akim South Municipal Assembly has honored some teachers and students for their hard work, dedication to duty and remarkably impacted on the academic performances in the year 2022 at Juaso.

Two students were given GHc 1,000 each for being the best (male and female) in last year’s BECE, and another two were also given GHc 1,000, books and certificates for being best (male and female) WASSCE students from the 6 public SHSs in the municipality.

11 teachers were also awarded in various levels receiving television sets, table top fridges and chest freezers respectively.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Mr. Alexander Frimpong advised teachers to be dedicated to the work and never stop learning to broaden their knowledge to impact unto the school children.

The teachers showed appreciation to the MCE, the Member of Parliament for the area Mr. Asante Boateng and the Municipal Assembly for recognizing their hard work.
