New doctors’ bungalow commissioned at Ejura
The Ejura Traditional Council under the auspices of His Royal Majesty Ejurahene, Barimah Osei Hwedie II, has joined the Municipal Chief Executive Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Bamba to commission a new Doctors bungalow at the Ejura Municipal Hospital.

The project which is aimed at giving conducive resident to doctors working at the Ejura Hospital and also motivates them and other doctor who may want to work with the hospital is one of the numerous projects captured in the Ejura developmental plan designed under Ejurahene and the traditional council and was supported through contributions from natives and friends of Ejura.



The MCE at the ceremony stated that his administration will see to it that essential health care reaches all persons within the municipality and in so doing the Assembly has built a health center at Aframso-Dome, a theatre and a maternity block at Sekyedumase with plans in place to upgrade it to a hospital status and also more Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHIPS) centers in the surrounding villages in the municipal capital are underway.



The Director General of Ghana Health Services, Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare commended the Ejura Traditional Council for undertaking such an important project to solve the infrastructural deficit in the hospital and increase the quality of health care.

He assured to assign more doctors to the hospital and specialist to advance health care in Ejura and the surrounding towns.



Ejurahene, Burma Osei Hwedie II acknowledged the efforts and contributions of individuals and groups, both religious and social for their support in building the beautiful edifice.

He appealed to the Director General of Ghana Health Services to provide the hospital with all the necessary equipment to make work easier for the health workers.



Dr. Mensah Manya, the medical superintendent of the Hospital also thanked Nananom, the Zongo community and the entire Ejura community for helping the hospital.
