Aburi District Court commissioned

His Lordship Justice Anim Yeboah, the Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana has commissioned a district court complex for Akuapim South District.

He expressed gratitude that a project like this has been built in the municipality; a situation that will limit the number of cases that would have been sent all the way to the Mampong court as well as the Akropong court for resolutions.

He also thanked the chief for releasing land for the court to be established.The Municipal Chief Executive of Akuapim South, Frank Aidoo thanked the President of the Republic of Ghana for selecting the Akuapim South Municipality as one of the beneficiary districts for the district court project.

The Member of Parliament for the area, O.B Amoah also reminded the people that the establishment of the court at the district is to ensure ready access to court services for the promotion of justice and maintenance of law and order.

Otoobour Djan Kwasi II, owners of the land was also really pleased with the work done and showed his appreciation to the Chief Justice and his entourage for constructing a district court in his community.

He said the court house will not only serve as a ruling house but also create employment opportunities for some members of the community.
