DCE distributes bed to Amoma Health Centre
Mr Akwasi Yeboah, a native of Amoma who lives in Amsterdam in the Netherlands has donated 10 hospital beds to the Amoma Health Centre to help improve health care delivery in the facility.

The family of Akwasi Yeboah presented the beds to the Kintampo South District Chief Executive, Mr Opoku Nyame on Monday, 13th December 2021 tfor onwards presentation to the Amoma Health Center.

Presenting the items to the DCE, a representative of the family noted that, Mr Akwasi Yeboah made the donation on the back of a video that popped up on social media showing children lying on the floor in wards for treatment at the health facility years ago.


The DCE, on his part expressed his utmost gratitude to Mr. Akwasi Yeboah and family for contributing their quota to the development and growth of the Amoma community and Kintampo South at large.

He called on others to also emulate the kind gesture.

He charged the District Director of Ghana Health Service and staff of the facility to exhibit the culture of maintenance in order to increase the life span of the beds.


He pledged his commitment to help resolve other challenges that the facility is currently facing.

Mrs. Libabatu Dauda, the District Director of Ghana Health Service, who took delivery of the items in the name of the facility, thanked the donor for the kind gesture extended to the health center.

She called on the DCE to help complete the staff accommodation project to help improve their accommodation situations.
