SEKYERE S: Afigya Sekyere East MP donates solar lantern to Babadiesu and Kwadaekrom
The Member of Parliament for Afigya Sekyere East Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mavis Nkansa Boadu has donated 50 solar lanterns to Kwadaekrom and Babadiesu communities to serve as an alternative to electricity to curtail their long stay in darkness.

The Legislature disclosed that she is on a negotiation table to extend electricity to the aforementioned communities but she still believes that the solar lantern would serve as an interim source of light to them.
Talking on the social challenges of the communities, she appealed to them to exercise more restraints because the NPP government is poised for development in all length and breadth of the country and they would have their fair share of development.
