The renewable scholarship package is to enable beneficiaries pursue their education at the tertiary levels.
The package according to the MCE is a government instituted scholarship programme that has been decentralized on the orders of the president to ensure that Ghanaians from all walks of life, irrespective of their backgrounds, benefit from the scheme.
He said selection of beneficiaries was carried out by the district offices of the scholarship secretariat upon careful scrutiny.
Mr. Agbewornu however cautioned the student that the renewal of their respective scholarships depend largely on their academic works and their willingness to continue to be of good behavior in school, adding that they should make the president and the municipality proud by excelling in their academic works.
