The schools they visited were Owuobourho in the Sekyere Central District and Nokware SDA Primary School which is also a community in the Ejura Sekyeredumase Municipality.

Speaking to the Ashanti Regional Technical GNAT Officer, Mr Samuel Donkor stated that, teachers are playing instrumental role in national development but most at times their grievances are not adhered to by the government of the day, adding, henceforth, this ought to change to make teaching profession more admirable.

"It’s highly unfair for teachers in the rural communities to receive equal remuneration with their colleagues in the urban communities and we have talked about this years down the lane but all to no avail".

He continued that, it's not too late, change could be done to suit the demand of time.

He made this lamentations during an interactions with Omono Asamoah, a journalist.

Reverend Patrick Obeng Tuffour the Ashanti Mampong GNAT Secretary also called on parents to be vigilant in nurturing their children so that they could desist from activities that lead to moral decadence.
