Obouho-Nyarko CHPS compound construction to begin

Madam Florence Governor, District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ayensuano in the Eastern Region, has cut the sod for construction work to start on a modern Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound with mechanized borehole at Obouho-Nyarko community.

The facility, when completed would replace an olden structure which is currently serving the community.

Speaking at the short ceremony, the DCE pledged her commitment to do more to bring quality health care to residents of the community, adding that, the assembly with government support would work relentlessly to ensure access to improved health services.

She reiterated that the government was much committed to expanding quality health delivery to the door steps of the people. According to her, the people could only carry out their socio-economic activities to support the development of the district only when they are healthy.

The DCE further told the crowd gathered that the Assembly's Common fund will be used to finance the project which has already been awarded on contract.

She called on all to rally behind the assembly since it delivering on its promises of promoting development and improving standards of living.
