Offinso North DCE advices his colleague MMDCES to work in unity with their MPs
Unity amongst people, they say brings development to a particular country and therefore the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Offinso North, David Kwasi Asare Boakye adviced all Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to work hand in hand with their members of Parliament (MP) in order to bring development to their respective assemblies.

He said that ever since he assumed the position as a DCE, he has been working together with his MP, Augustine Collins Ntim, adding that he can boastfully say that due to their good rapport, his MP on most occasions helps with his MPs common fund to help develop the District.

He therefore said emphatically that their district is the fastest growing district in the region in terms of development.



Mr. D. K Asare made this known at the town hall meeting held at Akumadan Methodist Church Auditorium which was organised by the Ministry of Information in collaboration with the Information Service Department (ISD) and Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development is aimed at bringing governance closer to the people through open interactions through ministers, parliamentarians, opinion leaders and the general public.

In his address the DCE used the platform to touch on all developmental projects he has worked on, giving pictorial evidence on all projects since his tenure in office such as; Education, health, Sanitation, security, Agriculture Roads and many more.



The Ashanti Regional Director of Information, Nana Akrasi Sarpong touched on all government flagship policies such as planting for food and jobs, one district, one factory, free SHS, planting for food and export, NABCO amongst others

He carefully explained the policies to the understanding of the citizenry and especially in the area of the double track system in the education that, the system divides the entire students body and staff into two different tracks. While one track is in school the other would be on vacation.



He added that the system would help increase the number of students enrolled into the free secondary school educational system.

In attendance were there Nananom, Ashanti Regional Director of information, heads of department Assembly members and the citizenry.
