L M KROBO: Agormanya Market to receive new toilet facility
The toilet facility in Agormanya Township market has been in a deplorable state for decades now and users of the facility have on several occasion called for improvement on the facility.

Heading to the call to improve the facility and also improve sanitation system at the Agormanya Market, the Municipal Chief Executive of Lower Manya Krobo, Simon Kweku Tetteh has cut the sod for construction of toilet facility where market women and members and other users of the market can relieve themselves conveniently.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Tetteh said his main aim for this initiative is to mitigate the outbreak of cholera and other communicable diseases as well as help reduce the rate of open defecation in the market area.
He added that the project which is being constructed under a public-private partnership arrangement when completed will create a more hygienic environment for the market.
