The DCE urged teachers to do their best in teaching mentoring the children since they contribute significantly to the success of the children and also it’s the only way the District and the country at large could bring up responsible people to take over the realms of leadership.

Madam Mary Konneh appealed the teachers to make the school a home for the kinds so that they would have the urge to be in school even if they are not well and advised the teachers to be more innovative in teaching the children, more especially those at the crèche and lower primary.

She also asked parents not to shift from their responsibilities towards their children but to invest in their education to ensure the children had good education.
