NKORANZA S: Dotobaa water project commences

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Nkoranza South, Madam Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa has called on the women and the people of Dotobaa, a community in the Municipality not to end up sleeping with contractors working on the Dotobaa Water project.

MCE added that, the chiefs and the people of Dotobaa to eschew partisanship but rather work in unity in order to foster development of the community.

The MCE gave the advice during a sod cutting ceremony to pave way for work to commence on a new water extension facility project in the area.

The project is in partnership with Construction Dynamics Limited (CDL) and financed by the World Bank.

Madam Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa expressed delight that the various water projects initiated in the municipality would go a long way to ensure sustainable portable water supply to the residents in the community, adding that the collaboration with the Construction Dynamics Limited will help in rapid development of the community if the people unite.

The Chief of Dotobaa, Nana Gyasi Gyabaah and the people of the community congratulates the MCE and the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah for their hospitality to the Ghanaian and the Dotobaa Community. They asked for more projects.

The event was witnessed by some key actors in the project including the Brong Ahafo Regional Director of Water and Sanitation/CWSA (Alhaji Ewura Ahmed), Nkoranza South Municipal Coordinating Director (Naa Thaddieus Zaasan), Mr Akakpo (the contractor) and the other technocrats including the Presiding Member (Mr Kwame Addu Gyamfi who made a lot of contributions adding that water is a necessity for human survival hence; her passion and vision to ensure that portable water is extended to every part of the municipality is achieved.
