Fanteakwa S: Ohiamankyini Market to receive facelift

The Fanteakwa South District is preparing to give its major market at Ohiamankyini a facelift to boost economic activities in the district.

Mr. Ernest Ofosu, the District Chief Executive for the area said government has already done a lot of work at the facility constructing some seventy-five number market sheds but the assembly is considering adding more to ensure it takes care of more traders.

Additionally, the environment as it is now is not in the best of shape especially during the raining season where the whole place get muddy, so this year by the second quarter, the Assembly will pave the whole market to create a conducive environment for them.

He disclosed that some considerable works have already been carried out on the Osino Market and the traders plying their trade in the market are happy about new state of the market.

These measures he assured are all in line to ensuring they draw people to their markets to improve economic activities which will inure to the benefits of the people.
