Assembly supports 124 PWDs
124 Persons with Disability have received their share of the common fund at the Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly in the Western region.

Items distributed include: electronic wheelchairs, refrigerators, fufu pounding machines, electronic sewing machines, roofing sheets among others. Beneficiaries were also given other special packages in addition.
Chief Executive of the area, Helena Appiah, in an interview with Ghanaditricts.com, said the items were shared equally to all the persons with disabilities in the municipality.
She made it clear that beneficiaries of the previous years were not included, since the assembly was looking to ensure that everyone benefits from the fund to avoid partiality and bias.
She encouraged the rest who could not benefit to have patience and look forward to the next common fund.
