Empress Gifty enstooled as chief of Igbo community in Ghana.

Ghanaian Gospel Musician Empress Gifty Adorye popularly known as Empress Gifty in the music industry has been enstooled as chief of Igbo Community in Ghana, Accra to be precise.

The Gospel musician's Ashiaman to the world brouhaha wahala has led the Igbo community in Accra to enstool her as their new chief, their reasons for doing this is because, in most of the musician's music videos she has been promoting their culture in her dressing and even sometimes add their language in most her songs .

Empress Gifty's new title denotes ambition, independence, strength, reliability, determination and professionalism.

The artist rightly said she received the honourary title because of her good works and her promotion of Igbo culture in Ghana.

During her acceptance speech also, she declared her readiness to serve and her new identity as an Igbo tribeswoman.

Hence forth the musician can be addressed as Chief Ugo Nma; to wit, ‘Beautiful Eagle’ according to Igbo tradition.
