He further revealed that the World Bank funded project would cost GH¢ 6 million Ghana cedis and is part of the third phase of the GAMA Sanitation and Water Project.

Road from Mallam Junction highway on the 30th of April 2018 will be blocked as the necessary diversion has been provided for the major underground drain construction that cuts through the Mallam junction highway to kick start the project.

Mr. Gabriel Engman noted that the current drain construction to start at the end of April 2018 is 70 meters wide to contain more volumes of water which the current drain is unable to contain leading to flooding.

The necessary compensation has been paid to those who will be affected as a result of the construction of the drain and Gabriel Engman has said they do not expect to have any problem from those to be affected.
