The one-storey building health facility, according to information gathered, was financed by the Adopt one village and The Life Christian Church (TLCC), led by Mr. Emmanuel Anim Sackey.

Ghanadistricts.com’s Rosemary Obeng Yeboah reports that, the project comes as a great source of relief to residents of the area who previously had to travel long distance in order to access quality health care.

Speaking at the colourful ceremony event, District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Isaac Agyapong said, it was a collective responsibility for all Ghanaians to offer the necessary and needed support for government to promote development and help improve livelihoods.

He said: “I am therefore delighted to be in your midst to witness this commissioning today of Yaw Tenkorang health center. I am also convinced that the good people of this community who are the ultimate beneficiaries of this project will patronize the facility and access quality healthcare.”

He underscored the importance of quality healthcare, saying that, it is a vital component which was critical to the attainment of wealth creation and sustainable economic growth of every society.

He thus, urged the group to extend their gesture to other deprived communities in the district.

On her part, the District Health Director (DHD), Mrs. Efua Afful applauded the team for their kind gesture and pledged to collaborate with the Assembly and make sure everything needed is provided immediately to ensure that the facility becomes fully operational.
