LOWER MANYA: Assembly to put up modern community library

It was great news for the good people of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality when Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Mr Simon Kweku Tetteh, broke grounds for the construction of a modern community Library as part of the social cooperate responsibility of 9BS, a corporate entity in Ghana.

The Eastern Region is benefitting 6 of such facilities and Lower Manya Krobo Municipality is fortunate to part of the six district earmarked for this remarkable edifice to help improve the standard of education in the area.

The new library will situated at the Maya Krobo secondary school (MAKROSEC) to serve the students but will also be an open to the community upon completion.

Nana Fianku, a board member of 9BS lauded the MCE for his efforts which led to securing one of the six community libraries to his Municipality.

He entreated the gathering to support the MCE since he is hard working and development oriented person.

Mrs. Agnes Nanor Narteh, headmistress of Makrosec in her brief address expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Hon. MCE, 9BS and the entire gathering for sitting such important project under her watch.

She pledged to collaborate fully with all stakeholders to make ensure that the project serve its maximum purpose.
