DCE inspected projects under construction in Wulensi Township

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Nanumba South District, Mr Nantogmah Ibrahim Munkaila yesterday, inspected about six (6) projects under construction in the Wulensi Township.

The projects include a 2 separate 3-unit classroom blocks for D/A JHS and the other designed for the model girls Junior High School (JHS) along the Gbungbaliga road.

The rest are two (2) community toilet facilities, a 6-unit classroom block on the premises of SABA JHS and some market sheds at the Wulensi market center.

As part of his entourage were two officers from the District works engineering department, the Assembly-member of the area and the District information officer.

The tour was motivated by series of comments and complaints by some concerned individuals expressing dissatisfaction about the quality of work especially at the community toilet facility situated at the Fulaniya neighbourhood.

It was indeed a naked shoddy work as a touch of a block with the slightest of pressure was enough to shed it off or even break it.

As a result, the DCE in his obvious mood of dissatisfaction, ordered the district engineer to immediately get in touch with the contractor to make amends as a matter of urgency.

The DCE led by the technical team however, expressed satisfaction and progress of work so far concerning the remaining project.
