DORMAA E: DCE visits electoral areas

The District Chief Executive of the Dormaa East Mr Emmanuel Kofi Agyeman has started twenty one days visits to the various electoral areas in the district. This visit is to familiarize himself and also sell the Government policy to the chiefs and people.

First day of the visit took the DCE, Mr Kofi Agyeman to Bronikrom/Beposo ,Aboso, electoral areas in Wamfie of the Brong Ahafo Region where he used the opportunity to explain to the people what the Government of H. E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the Dormaa East District Assembly are doing for a Ghana beyond Aid.

Gyidiem,Zongo,Estate,Kookoosum,South Korea and Sawmill was the next point of call, it came to the notice of the DCE during their interaction that, a number of cassava farmers are finding it difficult to sell their produce.

In view of this the Assembly through the Agric department will as a matter of urgency identify all such farmers across the district and look for a buyer for them to avert the situation whereby the cassava will not get rotten.

The elders and natives assured the DCE of their continued support which was not difficult to discern from their attendance and active participation.

Mr Kofi Agyeman thanked the good people for the trust they’ve vested in him and the government and ask all to rally behind him to foster growth for the district.
