Briefing the Ghana News Agency after the march, the Tarkwa Divisional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mr Dennis Abade, said the objective of the route march was to unite the security agencies because they share a common purpose.

He said the route march went on smoothly and he expressed the hope of sustaining it on monthly bases.

All the security agencies have collaborated and adopted more proactive ways of curbing crime during, before and after the festive season, he indicated.

The Divisional Commander hinted that the police was adequately prepared to provide maximum security and guarantee the safety of residents before, during and after Christmas.
