The flagship Nation Builders Corp initiative was instituted by the Akufo-Addo government to help reduce graduate unemployment in the country. The initiative is aimed at providing them with requisite skills and experience within formal working environment in any public establishment.

The government last year enrolled about 100,000 young graduates to take up responsibility to help solve public service delivery in areas of Education, Health, Agriculture, Revenue mobilsation, Digitalization, and governance.

Speaking at the event, District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Samuel Kwame Agyekum reiterated that the programme was established to reduce graduate unemployment in the country as promised by the NPP government.

He cautioned persons who are already working in a public or private institution but still registered for the programme to as a matter of urgency desist from the act or face the full wrath of the law.

He urged personnel to be punctual, committed, dedicated and above all work harder to reciprocate the government’s kind gesture.

The District Coordinating Director (DCD), Mr Moses Kobla Joshua, also took turn to explain the structure and workings of the Assembly to them and pledged the assembly’s support for their three-year stay in the district.
