Site ready for vegetable cultivation, processing factory - DCE
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Central Tongu, Thomas Moore Zonyrah, has said that the Assembly has secured a site for a vegetable Cultivation and processing Factory for farmers in the District under the government‘s flagship One District One Factory (1D1F) program.

The DCD indicated that the main aim of the program is to help address the issue of glut and lack of market and to get ready markets for their processed produce after harvesting to boost the economic development of the District.
Mr. Zonyrah added that when the factory comes on stream, they would have reasons to increase their farms, thereby increasing the jobs in the agriculture sector.
He added that the Assembly would reap some benefits by increasing its revenue and create employment for the youth in the District.
