Parliament urged to enact law to deal with uncompleted projects
The Branch Chairman of Bibiani Zongo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Bibiani-Anhwaiso-Bekwai Constituency of Western North Region Alhaji Alidu Musah has called on parliament to enact a law to bind all successive governments to continue and complete projects initiated by previous government in order to effectively develop the nation.

According to him the country is still not developed due to the issues of ‘new government, new projects syndrome’, lamenting that politicians always waste national resources in the name of new projects which will never see the light of day whiles projects of previous governments are still lying uncompleted and abandoned.

"That is causing financial loss to the stated and there should be a law to deal with such persons hence calling on parliament not to relent on enacting and passing into law a clause to deal with such stomach politicians" as he described them.

He revealed that Free Senior High School could be the best policy ever in the history of this country should the ruling new Patriotic Party continue and complete the numerous school building projects initiated by the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama and his NDC government.

"How quality is an education system where a student spent almost three months in school and later spend almost four months home and you call this quality, we are joking with our education system and jeopardizing our nation's development which is very bad" he questioned.

The three term branch chairman seized the opportunity during an interview with Ghanadistricts.com to caution the youth to always learn to respect the elders and leadership of the country being politicians, pastors, Imams, Chiefs or whoever is in leadership position as customary demand.

Alhaji Alidu Musah who is also known popularly as Bon cried out that "our democracy and Freedom of speech is being over abused and that will affect our future generation".

He stated that it is high time we as a country devoid of political or ethic affiliation come together to fight against search behaviors whiles appealing to the nation’s leaders to refrain from any attitudes that calls for an insults on them.
