She requested the prayer when members of Council of Churches organized a special prayer session for the DCE at the forecourt of the District Assembly to seek for God’s guidance and protection for the DCE and the President.

The service was attended by a large number of people including relatives, friends, Chiefs, Assembly members, church members and Assembly Staff.

The District Pastor of Fountain Gate Chapel, Engineer Tey Donatus, in a short sermon, urged the public officials and people in authority to show love and respect for their subordinates to win their confidence and support for successful administration.

He deplored the negative attitude of some Heads of Departments (HODs), who disregard their subordinates and asked such officers to change their attitudes.

He asked the public not to use positions to look down upon their fellows and shun their company "as we are all God's creation".

Pastor Donatus concluded by calling on all Ghanaians not to be divided by partisan politics but rather be united to promote love, unity, peace and understanding amongst themselves to maintain the peace and stability in the country.

The DCE took the opportunity to outline some government policies including cthe Free Senior High School, Planting for Food and Jobs, Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) and other social interventions for the betterment of the lives of the people in the Nadowli-Kaleo.
