KWAHU E: Work begins on Assembly office complex
The District Chief Executive of Kwahu East District Assembly, Mr Isaac Agyepong has cut the sod for the commencement of construction works on the office complex for Kwahu East District Assembly at Abetifi.

The two–story office complex with 24 offices and a conference room when completed will house all the offices of the district assembly for easy and convenient accessibility to the public.

According to the DCE, offices of the district assembly are currently sited in distant locations from the assembly mostly in rented apartments which are not spacious enough.



The project is scheduled for completion in six months.

Mr. Agyepong assured them of government's intention to rehabilitate some major roads in the district.



He further assured that, the Assembly would do their best towards the development of the district.

The Abetifihene Nana Akyemfour Asiedu commended the government and the district Assembly for their contribution towards the development of the Assembly.



Nana Akyemfour urged the people in the district to support the construction company to deliver quality work.

The project was funded by Government of Ghana through local government.

Mr Isaac Agyepong was ccompanied by Abetifihene Nana Akyemfour Asiedu, The Presiding Member, Mr Barfour Asuamah, heads of departments and Nananom from the various communities.
