The DCE gave the assurance when he, together with some officials of the assembly inspected the grading work on the Fian-Buoyiri-Owlo-Daffiama feeder road to make it motorable.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Sanda Imoro noted that the project would to a large extent reduce the discomfort commuters and motorists face when traveling through these roads.

It is the assembly’s hope that as we drift towards the rainy season, these roads will be reshaped again to make plying through them a bit comfortable, he added.

Some of the communities to benefit include, Fian-Pulbaa Road, Kojokperi-Challa-Kpare, Challa-Banonyiri, Issa-Kojokperi-Jollinyiri, Bussie-Kamahegu and Daffiama-Kunzokala.

He said the assembly was making frantic efforts to rehabilitate all poor roads in the district to make them motorable.

Meanwhile, the DCE has also made a passionate appeal to the government to assist with the tarring of the roads in the districts to make them long lasting.
