The facility, which comes with nurses’ accommodation, would serve the health needs of other nearby communities in the district.

The projects, as captured in the assembly’s 2017 composite budget will be funded from its share of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).

Mr George Ofori, District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, confirmed this to Ghanadistricts.com further noted that the Assembly was making frantic efforts to ensure that work is completed on the project on time to help serve the people.

He however, assured that the assembly will monitor closely and supervise the project to avoid shoddy job by the contractors  working on the two projects.

Mr Ofori further ceased the opportunity to reiterate the government’s determination to tackle the health needs of the people, especially those in rural communities.
