Yaru community gets 3 units classroom block

The Wa East District Assembly in the Upper West Region has constructed a 3-unit classroom block at Yaru, a community in the District.

Disclosing this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, District Chief Executive (DCE) of Wa of the area, Mr. Jotie Moses, encouraged parents to send their wards to school since government was to up to the task of providing the needed facilities for effective teaching and learning.

The DCE further advised parents not to engage their children into farming activities at the expense of their education since they are the future leaders.

“Our children are our future leaders and education is very necessary in preparing them for that future responsibility “

Mr. Jotie commended teachers in the school for contributing to the development of education in the district.

He assured that, the Assembly would soon provide packages to motivate them in order for them to continue to work harder to promote education in the area. He charged various stakeholders to complement efforts of government in the implementation of the educational Reforms.
