Mr. Aboagye Solomon, Assembly member of Hweehwee, speaking to Ghanadistricts.com said there has not been any disturbances these few days particularly because of the patrol of the police in the communities.

This, he noted has given some confidence to the people and some have started returning to their communities though still threading cautiously.

According to him, about 9 communities mostly affected by the violent actions of the herdsmen have virtually been abandoned by the residents.

He is however worried that, one would have thought that the presence of the security would push the herdsmen away completely, but since yesterday, he keeps receiving complaints from the people the presence of the cattle and few of the herdsmen who surface one a while.

The District Security Council (DISEC) has beefed up secure in the affected communities since the attack by the Fulani herdsmen with the District Chief Executive, Isaac Agyapong who is chairman of DISEC leading a security entourage including Director of Operations of the Ghana Police Service, COP Dampasre to assess the situation.
