The DCE said his visit to the department is to enable him  interact with the staff and encourage them to work, “ because is not easy to be sent to Kwahu Afram Plains South to go and work  because the Assembly luck so many logistics, accommodation, cars and even motors for their errands.”

In an interview with ghanadistricts.com, Mr Ofori said, he was impressed with what he saw during his visit to the various department; how everyone was performing his or her duties.

He called for support and cooperation of the staff in the effort to improve the standard of living of the people in Kwahu Afram Plains South.

He commended the heads of department and the staff and said "I cannot do the work alone, I will need your cooperation and advice in moving the district forward”.

Mr George Ofori emphasized that, his doors are opened and that he is prepared to listen to any constructive suggestions and criticisms but cautioned that people should not see that as a license to malign others.
