MP, DCE commission three projects

The Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre South and District Chief Executive (DCE) through the District Assembly’s Common Fund (DACF) has commissioned phase one of the Atimatim Maternity Block, a mechanized water system at Afrancho and ultra-modern KG Block at Apagya.

The MP at the commission ceremony stated that the current government is committed to healthcare and very soon there will be an upliftment of the clinic to a hospital and then urged the gathering to keep supporting the government for more developmental projects in the Constituency.

The DCE in his remark stated that the ultra-modern KG Block is one of its kind since it has got a sick bay, playground and a conducive washroom for the children.

The Apagyahene Nana Owusu Peprah commended the MP and DCE for the projects and appealed to the Member of Parliament to help the Constituency with road construction, which he believes will also be beneficial to the people.

The District Director of Education, Mrs. Dora Asare on behalf of Afigya kwabre South Education Directorate, thanked the government for the Kindergarten Block and pleaded with school authorities to cultivate proper maintenance of properties to help sustain the project.
