MCE moves to eradicate open defecation
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Keta, Mr. Seth Yormewu says the Assembly is on a mission to eradicate open defecation along the beaches in the municipality.

According to him, the Assembly is ensuring that the beautiful nature of the beaches is maintained to continue attracting tourists to the area.
In a bid to achieve this, the MCE noted that the assembly will soon form a task force to monitor cases of open defecation.
He added that the Assembly is in collaboration with UNICEF to address the menace to make sure the beaches are clean and also educate the people to put a stop to open defecation.
