ATIWA: Completion work on 20-seater wc at Moseaso commences

Pursuant to winning the fight against open defecation and creating a healthy environment devoid of diseases outbreaks, the Atiwa district assembly has committed resources to completing an abandoned toilet facility in Moseaso community.

The 20-seater water closet toilet facility was said to have been started as far back as 2005 but was left uncompleted since that time until now that funds have been budgeted for its completion.

The Seventy-one thousand, five hundred and sixty Ghana cedis (GHC 71,560.00) project is being carried out by Kwakwadom Company Limited.

When completed it will serve the entire Moseaso community especially those without toilet facilities in their homes. This is also to stop people from turning surrounding bushes in the locality into places of convenience.

Meanwhile, the Assembly continue to educate and sensitize the communities to factor provision f toilet facilities in their building plans so that every household would have toilet facility instead of looking for a public one.
