The donation was aimed at facilitating easy movement of borehole mechanics known as circuit riders to over 72 communities within the Municipality to repair and maintain boreholes in the area to ensure access to portable drinking water.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, Mohammed Tamimu in an interview expressed gratitude to the NGO for their support to the district. He was optimism that the move will help address the acute water challenges in the area by ensuring that boreholes in various communities are properly maintained to ensure their intended purposes.
