AKUAPEM N: MCE commissioned classroom block for Old Asuoya M /A JHS
The good people of Old Asuoyaa, a community in the Akuapem North in the Eastern region have gotten a newly built classroom block for Asuoya M /A JHS.

The school which started in 1970 used to operate under a shed.

Over the year’s students have been studying under a shed making it unbearable. The classroom block has brought a relief of development to the pupils in Old Asuoya, Tei-Nkwanta and its surrounding areas.



Speaking at the ceremony, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Dennis Edward Aboagye encouraged the community to ensure they harness the full benefit of this beautiful edifice provided them by the Government.

Mr. Aboagye, furthermore gave emphasis of governments’ assurance as to resolve and to ensure no government project started under the previous government is abandoned and this is a testimony to that resolve.




“This is not the last for the people of Asuoyaa. We would follow up with a lot more of such infrastructure to ensure they catch up with the development of other areas.’’

The Municipal Chief Executive Mr Aboagye together with the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Akropong constituency Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei commissioned the first school building for the area as far as the development of education in the municipality is concerned.
