MAMPONG: We need infrastructure to complement the free SHS policy - Headmaster

The headmaster of Kofiase Adventist Senior High Technical School, Mr. Kofi Anane Afoakwa has appealed to the government and other cooperate organizations to assist them to put up more classroom blocks and dormitories.

He explained that the Free Senior High School policy though a necessary evil yet it had posed some challenges that need to be addressed before the next academic year.

"Right now, because the population of the school had increased, all the students cannot attend to the dining hall simultaneously, they have to do so in batches and that also affect instructional hours of the school. Besides, the dormitories and classrooms are getting choked and would put most of the students into the situation of discomfort next academic year”.

According to him they are putting up a dining hall and a storey building dormitory to beef up existing infrastructure but they are pleading for more assistance so that they can quicken their steps to complete the projects within the shortest possible time.
