Tse Addo demolished school block being investigated by GETFund - MCE
The Municipal Chief Executive for the La Dede Kotopon Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region, Solomon Kotey Nikoi is confident authorities at the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) would get to the bottom of the case involving the demolishing of the school building at Tse Addo.

The Municipality witnessed an illegal demolishing of a 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Tse Addo by a developer purported to be Lawyer Kojo Graham on Saturday, 28" January 2023 without recourse to the Assembly.

The new school block which was constructed by GETFund was aimed at improving educational infrastructure in the municipality.
Addressing the 2023 first Ordinary Meeting of the Assembly, the MCE disclosed that the matter has since been reported to the Police and GETfund.

Subsequently, officials from GETfund had visited the place on Wednesday, 18th March, 2023 and instructed the Consultant to liaise with the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) and the Legal Team of GETfund for the way forward.

"As for us, we are just beneficiaries; our duty is to report to GETFund, and exactly we have done that".
