MP Donates medical equipment to Tano North Health Directorate

The Member of Parliament for Tano north constituency Freda Prempeh has presented some assorted medical equipment she received from "Rebecca foundation” to the Tano North Municipal Health Directorate.

The items, worth five hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (500,000), are to be distributed to other health centers in the municipality.

The assorted medical equipment’s including hospital medical beds, mattresses, vaccine fridge, wash machines, scan machines, drips stand, wheel chairs, medical consumables and delivery set and street light to the Presbyterian Midwifery training school in Duayaw Nkwanta.

Donating the items, Mrs Freda Prempeh advised the Tano North Health Director to adopt the culture of maintenance to ensure the durability of item to serve the purpose the equipment’s are meant for.

The MP who doubles as Deputy Minister for Gender and Social protection admitted that health is wealth and she would do anything within her limit to ensure that health related issue are reduce considerably in the Tano north constituency.

She assured the health Director a four wheel drive pick-up to be used for administrative errands and also build ultra-modern health directorate office for them.

Receiving the medical items, the Tano North Municipal Health Director, Mrs. Eva Aryee was grateful to the Foundation and asked for more of such gestures.
