AMANSIE W: Assembly members receive motorbikes, dual desks

The Amansie West District Assembly has presented 77 brand New Motorcycle for distribution to each of the Assembly members at a colourful durbar at Manso Nkwanta

Each member also received 18 piece of dual desks to be sent to schools in their Electoral Area.

Making the presentation, the District Chief Executive for Amansie West, Mr William Bediako Asante said with the presentation of this motorcycle, it will enhance the movement of all the Assembly members to reach their Electoral areas and also report to Assembly meetings in time.

He asked them to be very careful when riding the motorcycle to avoid accidents because of the nature of our roads.

He warned them not to sell the motorcycle but use to serve their Electoral areas.

The District Director of Education Mrs Dora Atigbire who received the school furniture thanked the District Assembly for their kind gesture and urged them to procure more furniture as more children are without school furniture.
