Asutifi North NSS organized entrepreneurship and business seminar
The National Service Personnel Association in conjunction with the national service scheme has organized an intensive entrepreneurship and business seminar in Kenyasi in the Asutifi North District of the Brong Ahafo Region.

The seminar which is organized annually by the national service personnel association for its members in the district was under the theme ' entrepreneurship and capacity building, the key to address unemployment challenges ' was mainly to prepare and empower the outgoing service personnel to meet the job market well.

The Asutifi north district president of NASPA, Morro Abdulai said his association realized that most of the service personnel lack knowledge on writing and presenting a winning Resume and answering interview questions and presenting themselves at the workplace. "This training workshop has come at the right time for the right persons. It has been very successful and helpful to the beneficiaries", he added.



The day capacity building workshop was done in collaboration with Grassroots hub, Omega link International, Databank Ghana and the Asutifi north national service secretariat.

The head of operations, Omega link international, Yemi John edged all national service personnel nationwide and young ones seeking employment opportunities to take up training workshop and sentisization seminars more seriously and grab all the opportunities in it. "Even if you are not able to get employed by the government and the private sector, you have the relevant skills and training to start your own business with the little amount of money at your disposal", he stated.



The participants were trained and tested on writing a good CV, answering interview questions and business proposal writing. Other areas like report writing, presidential address and pillars of successful life among others were treated.

The Asutifi north district coordinator for the national service scheme, Shepherd Sumly was full of praise to God and the organizers and participates and entreated the beneficiaries to put good use to what they had from the program as they prepare to end their service. He edged the participants to be humble themselves always to everyone and be disciplined in all spheres of life.
