Nadowli- Kaleo now peaceful and safe - DCE

The people in the Nadowli- Kaleo district of the upper west region are relatively enjoying peace and calm situation over the period, District Chief Executive (DCE), Madam Katherine Tieyirr Lankono has said.

According to her, the people are now going about with their normal activities without any hindrance. “My district is enjoying peace and security”, the DCE added.

This, she said, has been achieved through the work and professional commitment of our security agencies and dedication of the men and women of the services.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, madam Katherine indicated that, the delays and police escort provided for road users at both the Koho junction and the Nadowli barrier were part of arrangements been put in places to safeguard the people from armed robbering attacks in the area.

She emphasized that, the Assembly was doing its best within their limited resources to assist the police with logistics in this regard.

She therefore appealed to Assembly members to ensure the relay of the important information to their electoral areas to cooperate with the police since it is in their own interest.
