The projects include, a 2-bedroom teachers’ quarters and a 3-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Fetentaa and Botokrom respectively.

The DCE, who expressed satisfaction at the pace of development after the inspection, noted that, the projects form part of the government’s commitment to improve quality education in the district and the country at large.

He said: “The successful and timely completion of these projects would go a long way to compliment the government’s efforts and make quality education accessible to all irrespective of location.”

He added that, President Nana AddoDankwaAkuffo-Addo and the NPP government believe in investing in human resource and is committed to making it happen in all areas with education being the bedrock.

The DCE urged the contractors to speed up work in order to finish on time but should also ensure value for money.

Mr. Osei concluded by asking the two beneficiary communities to visit the sites regularly to monitor the progress of the projects, adding that “the project is for the community and that if it is not properly done, the community members would turn to suffer.”
