Ntunkumso Community gets health facility
Ms. Mary Boatemaa, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere East District in the Ashanti Region has handed over a fully furnished Community based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound to Chiefs and people of Ntunkumso Electoral area in the District.

The health facility is to serve the people of Ntunkumso and nearby communities like Buoya, Addokrom, Krofrom and kubase.
In a short ceremony attended by staff of the Assembly, the District Health Directorates as well as Chiefs and people of Ntunkumso, Ms. Mary Boatemaa Marfo admonished the people to own the facility, make good use of it and ensure regular maintenance of the facility to prolong its lifespan.
She said, the people of Ntunkumso have always craved for a health facility so they should ensure that they make good use of the facility in order to relieve the pressure of the Effiduase Government Hospital.
She appealed to the people to help maintain the facility for the benefit of future generations.
She said the Assembly is committed to ensure that development gets to the grassroot hence there is the need for the people to help the Assembly by protecting and preserving the facility especially looking at the investments that have gone into it.
She added, the Sekyere East District Assembly will build more CHPS Compounds in the District to help give space to the Effiduase Government Hospital.
