N JUABEN: Adweso Medical Village Health Centre to be furnished for use

The New Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Comfort Asante as part of her oversight duties visited some ongoing projects of the Assembly to acquaint herself with progress of work so far.

Hon. Comfort Asante first visited the Medical Village Health Centre at Adweso, where she inspected a completed Maternity Wing.

The project was constructed by the assembly and was executed by Leonard Hone Limited at a cost of GH¢200.000.00.

The facility which has maternity rooms with ancillary facilities is however yet to be furnished with equipment which will get it ready for use by the public.

The MCE expressed delight that the structure has been completed and hoped the furnishing will be done as soon as possible to make it available to the public to benefit from it.

She said the said of the populace is very important and the Assembly will continue to pursue measures to improve on health facilities to make health accessibility easier to its populace.

The Municipal Director of health, Mr Ekow Kwaito expressed his gratitude to the MCE and the Assembly for their prompt response to health issues.
