North Dayi DCE cuts sod for construction of ultra-modern kitchen for Vakpo SHTS

The District Chief Executive of North Dayi Mr. Edmund Kudjoh Attah has cut the sod for the construction of an ultra-modern Kitchen for Vakpo Senior Technical High School.

The construction of a state of the art kitchen with a dressing room, cold room, stores, and a servery that will be well-resourced after completion is an Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication (IPED) program funded by the Coastal Authority under the Ministry of Special Initiatives headed by Hon. Hawa Koomson.

The DCE in his address described the project as an essential building block for the realization of President’s vision of creating a conducive atmosphere needed for effective teaching and learning and asked the school not to look down upon itself but rather count themselves lucky as the first beneficiary of such projects.

Mr.Kudjoj Attah indicated that it is critical that the government invest the appropriate resources to bring relief to teachers and the students adding that management of the school should cooperate fully and assist the Contractor for successful and timely completion of the project.

He then charged the Contractor and the Engineers from the Works Department of the District Assembly to continue to develop and roll out strategies and innovative ways to speed up work on the project
