The facility was constructed with funding through the Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common fund (DACF) and support from ‘Pencils of Promise’, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the area.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mr Agyekum noted that the government was still committed to delivering on its promises of ensuring access to quality education to every Ghanaian child of school going age.

He was optimistic that the project would also provide affordable and quality education to the doorsteps of the residents in neighboring communities.

He pledged the assembly’s readiness to complete all ongoing educational projects to help promote education in the area.

In other related development, Mr Agyekum has also inspected the ongoing educational projects at Anyaase and Gyakiti communities in the district.

Speaking at both project sites, the DCE urged contractors working on various projects to expedite work in order to meet deadline but to also warn them to ensure value for money.

He also hinted the government’s commitment to tackle the health needs of the people, especially those in rural communities across the district.
